The short version: you can use this whole site without telling us anything about yourself.

What we don't collect

There are no accounts here and nothing to sign up for. We never ask for your name, your address, your case number, or your EBT card number. We couldn't look up your balance if we wanted to.

What we count

Our host, Cloudflare, counts page views so we can see which pages get used. Those are totals, not profiles. There's no cookie behind them and nothing that points back to you.

When you click through to a store

Some links go to stores like Amazon. Those are affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, we earn a small commission and your price stays the same. Guides that carry those links say so at the top.

Once you click, you're on that company's site and their rules take over. They set their own cookies and keep their own privacy policies. We don't see what you looked at or what you bought. We only ever see totals.

Our homepage also carries a tag from Impact, an affiliate network we work with. When it's running, it can set a cookie used to credit a referral. It doesn't collect your name or anything you type.

What we never do

We don't sell information about you. We don't run ads today. If either of those changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top will tell you when.

Children

This site is written for adults handling a household's food benefits. We don't knowingly collect anything from children.
